Welcome to the first RecomMondaytion!
Every Monday I tell you about a new release that I’m really excited about. Since these aren’t usually deals, they aren’t yet introduced in the Friday posts.
This spotlight is my very personal favorite new release that I feel is totally credit-worthy: New audiobooks from my favorite authors or books I’ve read very intriguing reviews about.
The Sins Duet by CD Reiss
Today I’m kicking this thing off with a new-to-audio duet by CD Reiss. I follow her tweets pretty much religiously because she’s an awesome person. And this new duet is extremely intriguing!
CD Reiss herself said: “I designed this to be your first CD Reiss book or to be read IN ANY ORDER with the rest of my books. So if you haven’t read me before or if you’ve only read some of my books, just dive in here!” [from Goodreads]
I love Elena Wolfe’s voice and narration style. She has such a great range of voices. So, between the fantastic narrator and the awesome author, this is a duet I absolutely want to listen to soon!
Secret Sins Publisher’s Summary
From New York Times best-selling author and Audie Award winner CD Reiss…
In the era of pay phones, groupies, and party pills, there were three of us.
Strat. A rock god who walked on air.
Indy. A handsome musician smart enough to live through stardom.
Me, a girl with everything to lose and nothing she wanted to keep.
I loved them both.
They say three’s a crowd, but maybe I liked crowds…until the one thing I wanted to keep was stolen out of my arms.
I left that world, straightened up, went to law school.
I was fine until Indy walked back into my life to remind me of what I’d lost.
They say there’s no time like the present, but when the past shows up with an invoice there’s gonna be hell to pay.
